Tusk - Ride4Rangers
Tourism is the key funder of conservation in Africa through park fees and conservation and wildlife are what the industry is built on. Since the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic there has been very little money going into the conservation system. With most holidays to Africa on hold until next year the Africa travel industry in dire straits and the trickledown effect on the ground is already being felt.

Ride 4 Rangers is an initiative that was thought up by a group of African Travel Industry friends who have teamed up with conservation charity Tusk. Hundreds of fellow Africa Travel industry professionals and conservation lovers are being invited to join in attempting to circumnavigate Africa – a distance of 30,000km - by bike, horse, walking or canoeing.

All money raised will be match-funded by Tusk meaning that Ride4Rangers can double its impact on the ground.

BAULENI, ZAMBIA
Bauleni is a township on the outskirts of Lusaka, Zambia. The Latitude Hotel Group work closely with Bauleni project to help support different ongoing projects including Covid-19 related activities (supplying washing stations, hand sanitisers and masks)

All profits from the masks will support this project.
MASIPHUMELE CREATIVE HUB, SOUTH AFRICA
Masiphumelele Creative Hub was founded in 2017 by Yandiswa Mazwana. The organisation aims to provide a safe, supportive and educational environment where community members can use the power of creativity and art to overcome their daily challenges.

When the national lockdown started in South Africa in March 2020, all their energy was put towards running a feeding scheme for young children up to grade 5 and vulnerable elderly people in Masiphumelele township.
